OKC Airport Global Entry Event: What Travelers Need to Know

OKC Will Rogers International Airport is hosting an onsite Global Entry enrollment event July 28 through July 30, 2026, but interviews are only for applicants who already have conditional approval. Eligible travelers must schedule an appointment through the federal Trusted Traveler Programs system.

The interview office is at the east end of baggage claim near Customs and Border Protection. The City advises visitors to use hourly parking and proceed to that office.

Who can use the OKC event?

This is not a walk-in application event for someone beginning the process from scratch. You must submit the federal application, complete the background-review step, receive conditional approval and then schedule an available interview appointment.

What should you confirm before leaving home?

  • Your conditional-approval status
  • Your confirmed appointment date and time
  • The current federal list of required identity and residency documents
  • Parking time and the walk to the east end of baggage claim
  • Any appointment instructions shown in your Trusted Traveler Programs account

Document requirements and federal program rules can change. Use your official appointment notice and Trusted Traveler Programs account as the controlling instructions, not an old social-media post.

What does Global Entry do?

Global Entry is a U.S. Customs and Border Protection trusted-traveler program that can provide expedited processing for preapproved, low-risk travelers returning to the United States. Approval is not guaranteed, and the federal government controls eligibility, fees, interviews and membership.

Why this matters for Oklahoma City travelers

Oklahoma City residents have often had to coordinate trusted-traveler interviews around limited appointment availability or travel to another enrollment location. A temporary onsite event can make the interview step easier for people who already cleared conditional approval.

The event also arrives as Oklahoma City expands its international-travel profile. For relocating households and frequent business travelers, airport access, parking and flight options can be meaningful quality-of-life considerations.

The bottom line

If you are conditionally approved, check the federal scheduling portal immediately for availability. If appointments are full, do not arrive without one unless the official event instructions specifically authorize walk-ins.
